Hi my name is Dan, I was born in Jacksonville, Fl and moved to Acworth GA when I was 7, I moved once again to Hayesville at the beginning of my freshman year.  At first things went pretty bad, the house basically had walls and the outside doors. Freshman year went by extremely slow; I failed Mrs. Leek's class (communication I) just to prove it was possible, my scores from Acworth hadn't come in yet so I had to take all basic classes. I played in concert band that year and stayed away from marching band. I was used to living in a big school with at least 100 or so kids in band...big change. I was eventually convinced to join Marching band which proved out to be a lot of fun. Thats why I joined again my junior year (this year).

As you can tell, I play the Tuba/Sousaphone. I'm the only one of my kind thus far and I'm continuously told to play louder (hey, if I can hear myself its alright)
